On Monday, Michael Oher dropped a nuclear bomb on his "Blind Side" parents Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy. The bombshell came in the form of a petition Michael filed in a Tennessee court. Allegations within Michael's petition completely destroyed pretty much everything that we all believed to be true about his life with the Tuohy family. Michael claimed that the Tuohys were one of several families he stayed with during high school.

Some people may remember a tv show from the early 2000s titled Reba. The series is a comedy that portrays a single-parent household in the suburbs. While Reba did not air as long as other shows on the network, it was favorable among audiences. Stories about celebrities fighting eating disorders are not uncommon. Many of them have come forward about their experiences. Scarlett Pomers dealt with anorexia while filming Reba, but she has since recovered.

Chloe Bailey is an American actress, singer, songwriter, and producer. She is best known for being the one half of the duo Chloe x Halle. Chloe is extremely popular and is also considered the social media’s favorite sweetheart. It's no secret that the estate of late singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Prince is extremely valuable. But exactly what was the value of  the precise value of everything held by the estate had, until very recently, been a matter of dispute. Prince died of a fentanyl overdose in April of 2016. He was only 57 years old. Several months after his death, his estate's administrator, Comerica Bank & Trust, told the IRS that their client's estate was worth a total of $82 million.

Some publisher made the decision to release Shania Twain’s memoir yesterday, the same day as Jesse James’ memoir. I realize that they don’t have the same target audience, but I hate that publicity for Shania’s memoir could be overshadowed by Jesse’s drama. The Dark Tower opened in North America last weekend and everyone is just… disappointed. It was always going to be difficult to adapt Stephen King’s opus, but many critics complained about how the plot didn’t make any sense, and that Idris Elba in particular was “too good” to be in this kind of mess. The film currently sits at 18% with “all critics” on Rotten Tomatoes, just FYI. Anyway, the film did debut at #1 at the box office… with a North American haul of just $19 million, barely beating out Dunkirk (which is like the hit of the summer).

The When Calls the Heart cast is mourning the loss of a beloved colleague. Neill Fearnley, who directed nearly 50 episodes of the Hallmark Channel drama, died July 13 at age 71. Hallmark shared the sad news in an Instagram post.  “Hearties, it’s with profound heavy hearts today that we bid farewell to When Calls the Heart director Neill Fearnley, who passed away on July 13 after a long fight with ALS,” read the update.
